Permanent Makeup or Cosmetic Tattoo
“My gran has tattoos on her face!”, this was my favourite comment I heard at school from a little preppy telling the other children of his Gran’s visit to First Impressions Laser Clinic to have Cosmetic Tattoo on her lips and eyelids.
Cosmetic Tattoo has been around for hundred’s of years but has really only become truly fashionable and accessible to the masses in the last 15 years and even more in the past five. Brows can be blocked or feather touch, lips can be outline only or full, and Eyeliner can be thin/top/bottom or designer. There are so many choices when talking about cosmetic tattoo, so many different methods, the only thing you do not want to take a chance on is the artists’ experience and skill – so when thinking of Permanent Makeup or Cosmetic Tattoo ensure the chosen artist does not listen to you and can’t follow your instructions of what you want prior to putting needle to skin (they should be drawing it on first with liner), maybe rethink you choice of clinic.
Remember you are going to have to wear the same make-up for the next five years so take your time, look around, talk to people, and for goodness sack ensure the clinic is clean and adheres to very stringent safety regulations governing the tattoo industry.
